This project was completed in a newly built home in the Grapevine community in Portsmouth, developed by Chinburg Builders and sold through The Gove Group. While the home featured a beautifully finished interior, the garage floor started as bare concrete—common in new construction and highly susceptible to moisture, staining, and long-term wear.
We installed a full 3-coat epoxy flooring system, beginning with a moisture vapor barrier to protect against potential slab moisture issues. The floor was then coated with a durable base layer and finished with a dovetail flake blend for a clean, modern look that complements the home’s coastal aesthetic. A polyaspartic top coat was applied for added durability, UV stability, and easy maintenance.
To maximize functionality, we also installed Beachwood slatwall along the back wall of the garage, creating a flexible storage solution for tools, gear, and seasonal items.
